yeah i have the easygprs but it does not read my phonebook sms and stuff. Is there some kind of a picture shown on the phone when we connect it to the pc and is the cable for C100 and v200 the same?

And th EasyGPRS says offline.

First you must make sure that in Easygprs you have set the correct com port the cable is plugged into.
on my pc i find that if you start easygprs first then plug in the phone it starts to read the phone contents.

i've tried all u guys say but it still doesn't work i have the v200 cable but easyGPRS always says offline any solution at all? will downloading the newer version help?

Well test this dude ->> File -> Setup -> Connect: Port: COM1(or any other which u may have it in) Speed: 115200 (If you choose more it wont work with the V200 and not less either btw!!) -> OK... Well i had the same problem as u had till i changed connection speed.. now it works fins exept that my phone is on service due to the freaking camera wires that might have been cut or something...

Install the Samsung modem drivers and restart your system. Problem should be fixed.
