Well, i guess, i kinda doesnt neither mod nor doing anything with the V200 anymore, next phone i get from samsung -if i ever (but most possibly i will, but it aint in the next "planned" years)- i might start up again.

I do recomend the Che Guivara (did i spell it right?) as startup screen!, had it while i where a V200 user and it is very nice on the screen...

Is it possible to actually change the menu label like the intro pic for V200 mod squad. I have an x426 and when I use Samsung DIY and try to use the label names it "finds" them, but flashing doesn't actually change anything. I was wondering what I am missing here. Thanks.

I do it (thanks to Don) by opening the firmware in a hex editor. You just look for the text in there! I found the words Menu and Names and added the text V200MOD in the Menu space. I then did the same for Names with SQUAD!
Then open the bin in DIY and search and modify the strings;
V200MOD to V200MOD. Save as s3.
SQUAD to SQUAD.Save as s3....
It's that easy!!!
