I'm not sure, I've not heard about this, ya you can send your colour images like in other versions but I think they will fix this too. MMS memory is increased.

thanks for the info!
hey malakas, i bought my phone at greenhills as the prices are much lower there than those nokia dealers at the malls. so do you think i'll get charged for upgrading my phone at the nokia center since i didn't purchase it from official distributors? that automatically disqualifies me from the 1 year-warranty as you say...
another thing, is it even possible to increase the memory of my phone so i can download some more software? and does my phone support image and tone sending thru the phone's IR feature?

I'm not very sure about this. As long as the phone isn't tampered with like it was open-lined or something, I think you'll still be covered by the warranty.

I believe the memory size cannot be increased. It will even decrease as soon as you have the new firmware version installed.
Your phone can send tones and images via IR but only to a computer and vice-versa, not with another phone.

Hi,
I called the Mobile Phone Repair Center in Dublin 01 2950907, and as of today they have 4.18, so I'll drop mine off and see what happens. I have 3.09 and have no problems that I can find, my screen goes bright and blinks with calls, I just want that new (see thru) operator logo feature, etc.
