Russians told me that in their country this firmware will be at summer, sooo this firmware 5..... will can show you photo of incoming caller, and backlight is alsoo fixed

4.72 is already out in most countries but it hasn't reached our shores yet. I'm still on 4.18. I wonder when version 5.0 will get here.... maybe in 2005? LOL!

Where and when did you purchase your unit? I think they're quite strict on warranties so it should come from an authorized Nokia distributor. Nokia cellphones have a one-year limited warranty. If you want to check if your unit is covered, go to a Nokia Care Center. There's one in Makati and another in QC. Semicon in Megamall is an authorized Nokia distributor and service center so you could also bring your phone there.

If it is still under warranty then the firmware upgrade is free. If not, then you have to pay the service charge. I'm not sure how much it will cost you but I'd say it's around 500. About Greenhills, I'm not really sure if the cell shops there would be able to upgrade it. To be safe, just go to Nokia Care.
