Dear friend,
my got thinkpad ibm laptop without serial port,i got serial cable & convertor to usb cable also. i got the drivers with usb cable cd. no use , i gone through all the info on thie form tried also. no use.
i downloaded all the serial to usb drivers from website.which given in the form). please help me , no use i am software eng. in bangalore .

About the USB cables... I got mine to work with my e715. I went to http://www.futuredial.com/support/usbdrivers/Drivers.htm and downloaded the "automatic USB driver installation".

Prasad, where did u get data cable for your E700?
I have bought Samsung E700 in Bangalore but there was no data cable in the pack.
and I do not know where to buy it. Can u help?
or anybody who knows any shop in bangalore who sells datacables?

guys i have some .mmf files on my system and i need to transfer them to my SAMSUNG E700.What do i have to od??I need a data cable for that right??Does that data cable have a name? And after connecting that data cable to my PC AND my handset can i start transfering things to my handset or shud some softwares be installed on my system??Please do lemme know!!

Hi i have read the relevant info on this site regarding E700 & usb data cables.
I now know im not alone..
I have installed the software from samsung...[ phone was not recognised ]
At the moment I have the PL 2303 usb to serial driver installed.
I have set the speeds to 115200 coms 4
I can here the phone beeping as the software tries to communicate with the phone ?
I am unable to get the phone online?
I have installed several usb drivers previous including the automatic driver listed in this forum.
I am using a toshiba satalite laptop supporting XP home edition
Am I overlooking something?
Any help would be appreciated.

I have same problem, I have Prolific cable , i have installed drivers that came with cable in win98se, Easy studio can connect but I get error SIM NOT INITIALIZED RETRY LATER or something like this, what this means???? Do I make something WRONG? My cable is for E700, but is should work with X600.
Please Help
