Ok guys, this is my first post here so please dont flame on me too hard. Here is my problem, I just switched from Nextel to T-Mo and got the samsung e715 and i am having trouble with Voice Mail. When i get a voice mail it never lights up the voice mail indicator but instead sends me a text message saying i have a voice mail and then lights up the text message indicator. I want to change that so it just lights up my voice mail indicator and i dont get all these stupid text messages saying i have a voice mail. I dont know if it is a T-Mo thing or if it is a Samsung thing on the phone.... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That's normal and you can't change it.

To tell the truth: I never heard befor of a provider who actually uses the voicemail-symbol icon_biggrin.gif

All providers I know well uses text messages if a voice mail is in.

That stinks... then why does the phone even botherhaving a separate VM indicator? oh well also does anyone know where to get a normal ring tone that just goes "RING RING" really loud? so i can actually hear it? or do i have to make my own?

Phones have got the indicator because some providers use it.

In the beginning of cell phones, text messages were ment to be as indicator for voice mail, but it began to be popular and so it began. Most provider never changed it because the people know it as it is.

Phones even have got an indicator for faxes, but they are never used.
