I just got off the phone with Samsung.. They said that they're still trying to resolve this issue... I managed to see some postings here about the E700 and some other Cell Phones. I'm using the E715 Samsung. Is there a download that'll fix this problem?? icon_confused.gif

I saw a few post here that might fix the E700 Easy GPRS problem.. Do a search here for DAO/jet db engine not initialised E700. I think you might need to download a DAO.dll file and than it should work. but, unfortunately this method doesn't seem to work with my e715 I've tried it already.. icon_cry.gif You can also try calling Samsung @ 1 800 Samsung.

I'm still waiting on this issue to finally be resolved for me.. I've been trying to figure this out trouble shooting and searching this forum for help for weeks now.. I still have hope. icon_wink.gif

That's the same upgrade that I downloaded (Easy GPRS 1.2.8 ) two nights ago with the Samsung Tech guy while I was on the phone with him. It's been almost 72 hours..

Yeah, like I said the message still keeps popping up. I'm going to call Samsung again today because this is ridiculous!! icon_frown.gif I think it's something with the DAO.dll file not working with Win XP or some other software issue that needs to be fixed. I'm still waiting for over two weeks now.. icon_huh.gif

Where did you downloaded the EasyGPRS 2.1.8 when you got that error?
- If you downloaded it at samsung.com uninstall it and reinstall the one from samsungmobile.com
- And if you downloaded it at samsungmobile.com uninstall it and reinstall the one from samsung.com
- If both don't work do a Windows Update.

Don,

I downloaded the one from www.samsung.com SGH-E715 EasyGPRS (ver.2.1.icon_cool.gif
So, your link for the E715 is from www.samsungmobile.com. I really don't know what's the difference between samsungmobile and samsung because I downloaded and unzipped your link and it was the same files that I downloaded from samsung?? icon_confused.gif

maybe just win xp update.. will do it. but I wont know for sure until I try it out tonight.
