Hey, I think that nokia is not the best phone company in the world, you know, Samsung, Sharp, Panasonic, LG. Look at this phones, they are incredibly good, they are more & more better phones that Nokia phones.
I mean new phones, Nokia phones are 4096 colors when phones I've mentioned have 65000 with camera. Nokia phones can play 4 polyphony tones, but other asia phones can play 40 tones. It's very good sound. Look at the Samsung V200, Panasonic GD87, Sharp GX10, and LG phones You can download from other websites musics for this phones and listen them.
When I saw Panasonic GD87 display, and heard it's melodies I hated my Nokia 6610 at that moment and it has 16 tones. Samsungs and LG have 40 tones polyphony... I can't imagine what sound will it be... So I want to say that Nokia phones are of course good & very good but not better than....... you know But it's YET, And Nokia phones have somth attracktive & addictive

I agree...
I saw the new Panasonic GD88. It has great colours, polyphonic tones and wonderful resolution... Some of the picture which I sent to this phone turns out better than the one I had...

Yeah you're right. I am one of the disappointed customers of Nokia too. I'll probably switch as soon as the T610 of Sony Ericsson is out. I'm looking at Panasonic phones also. Don't you feel shortchanged by Nokia sometimes?

However, it's worth noting that the Samsungs and Panasonics etc have very short battery life. All those extra colours on the display mean a trade off in battery life.
I think Nokia are trying to strike a balance between the two. Do you *REALLY* need 65000 colours on a little mobile phone screen?
I think the 6610/7210 was a disappointment. The 7250 is much more satisfying though and some of the new phones coming up look even better... wap 2.0... better poly tones...
I think I'll wait and see.

Images on 4096 colors do not look good when transferred to a PC.

OK, I agree with you, you seem you like Nokia, me too, but when nokia makes 65000 colors, others are going to make 255000 colors! why not? why don't you need 65000 in your phone? Baterry? Samsungs have 900mAh! Panasonics 720mAh. ya Nokia batterys can live a bit & a bit more than panasonics, but it's same with samsung.

DO NOT BUY ANY ERICSSON PHONES!!
mmm well perhaps this is too much....think twice before buying any ericsson phones
I was a faithful customer of ericsson mobile phone...GF768, T28, T39m, but now that i own a shining Nokia 6610 i can say screw ericsson...its software is extremely slow and buggy!! Even after many firmware upgrade...if you want to write an SMS for example, the longest the SMS is, the slowest the phone become...and after many hours of use of the phone it will certanely crash...
Maybe I have been unluck with all my phone...but this is my impressions, now I'm very happy to own a Nokia and I think I will never buy an ericsson anymore...
ps sorry for the english

Okay, first up... 4096 colours on screen doesn't mean the camera has less colours! Transfer an image from the 7250 to your PC and use some image software to count the colours.
As for wanting 65000 colours... not bothered... sure it looks pretty but until I have a mobile phone that has something to make it worth staring at the screen for ages, I'm happy with 4096. It's not like the Nokias have huge screens to watch video or play games on. At that size, 4096 is fine for a mobile phone... IN MY OPINION.
According to reviews the samsungs and Sharp/Panasonic phones have considerably shorter battery life. Never owned one though so I can't speak from experience. Wouldn't by a Samsung either as I think the software is awful.

Maybe you are right, but 7650 images looks better on PC than 7250 Yes, I like my Nokia, and I'll never change it, but I only said that Nokia has serious RIVALS

On a 128x128 screen, the total number of pixels is only 16K, so having 65K colours on a screen that size seems a bit pointless really.
