may I ask what you're using to upload the ringtones/songs (both hardware wise and software wise). I have a usb data cable which doesn't seem to want to work, and I want to upload ringtones and pictures to my z200. I will be getting access to irda soon also to attempt that, but i was just curious how you're doing it

Hi,
First of all i would like to declare that there is no size limitation..!
since i even do transfer
*.amr music files sizing 150 kb and more,
picture files 50kb,
tones 100 kb,
games more than 100kb,
i meant each file which sizes individually..!
of course once your downloading things through W@P you'll undergo a file size limitation of course.. thats based on your Service Provider...! specially i'm presently using a datacable which is not sophicsticated as the IrDa but still if this could do what i meant why cant the IrDa do it. It is possible doing it..!
You know technology is not developing downwards, it's developing upwards..!
Bye,

According to your word, that means there are no limitation during tranferring the files to the Z200~
But I get limitation when I use IrDA to send into the phone
Would you mind to tell me which tools are you using to send the file to the phone, Data Cable or IrDA?
Thank you~

There are certainly some probs with the IrDA communications port of the Z200. I am surprised that was able to transfer stuff of such large size. I will try to get my test piece's FW updated and will check out the result.
