Dude, using either PSMPlay 5.0 or Yamaha makes .mmf sound exactly the same thing. Because you are using an 16Khz 8Bit Mono file. You can change the sound properties using Sound Recorder that windows uses, just go to Audio Properties.
Most samsung phones are able to use up to 40KB of the .mmf, so go to PSMPlay convert the ringtone and make sure you increase the max file size from 30,000 bytes to 40,000 bytes.
The Quality of the wav file completely goes down as soon as you change it to 16Khz, 8bit Mono.

hey I FINALLY got sound forge, i made some ringtones but the size it too large for my phone... when i decrease the quality via yamaha it sounds really bad, i dont want to decrease the length of the tune, even though it is 10 seconts the file is still too big... im currently using a S500, and i think the maximum file size per ring tone is 30kb.... is there any solutions to this without decreasing the tune length? using sound forge 7.0 can i decrease the size of the wav?
