Panasonic has a new gsm mobile phone which is equiped with lasers which shows a hollographic view to the user it will be released in the 3rd quater of 2004

3rd quarter 2004? So soon?
I don't believe it. Holograms ain't really fit for daily use at the moment.
For what purpose?
Maybe for something compareable with this:
The only "hologram" stuff which is available is a virtual keyboard for Palms, etc. (http://www.ibizcorp.com - 100 US$) and Siemens build a phone with this holografic keyboard, but it just an experiment at the moment.
