Here is another example of their limited ken of knowledge. Last night, I called up the tech support staff and asked them about the launch of EDGE services in Mumbai. I asked this coz Airtel is gonna lauch the service by June. What they replied knocked me out! They said that they had this service on offer and it had been available since a few months. It was only after a few more queries that I came to know that they were referring to the GPRS APN service that costs Rs.499/- per month.Confusing GPRS and EDGE???
Man, this is totally disgusting and I never expected this from the mouth of a support person working for the leading service provider in Mumbai.
Yah it's simple...
GPRS is Phase 1
EDGE is Phase 2
Edge has been introduced in Sri Lanka...! But still going on with only one handset That's Nokia 6xxx series, one of it..! I didn't check in with it..!
Still further develpments are to come..! as i read on a literal post on one site..!
