While trying to install MPT I receive an undefined exception error while it is trying to detect what type of phonebook I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had this exact same problem, You need to uninstall Outlook 2003, Install the Phonetools software and updates, once MPT is working simply reinstall Outlook 2003. Then everything will work fine.

Does your phone have wap or an access to the internet via your mobile phone settings if you dont have either then all i can suggest is to contact motorola directly and ask to speak with there technical services division and explain to them what kind of problem you are having if that does not work feel free to contact me via email icon_biggrin.gif

I'm a new owner of the V600 phone and was wondering what PhoneTools software you are talking about ?? I did not get any PC software with the V600. Is this something I need to purchase ?? I am wanting to sync with Outlook 2003.

Thanks for any help...

Ken

I had a mongral of a time trying to figure out MPT with outlook 2003. I finally installed outlook 2000, then installed MPt, then reinstalled 2003 and it seemed to work, except for a crazy bug.

I have a v525, outlook 2003, windows xp pro, Mobile Phone tools version 2.2x and a Dlink dbt-120 bluetooth dongle. It works ok.

When I add an entry into my phone and sync with outlook, the event does not show in outlook. I know it is there somewhere because I used to be able to click on the 31 Day view and scroll up, then down, the event then appears in the calendar!

My scrolling up and down blah blah isn’t working anymore! I still get the reminder popups for ALL events, but they do not show up in the calendar.

Please help.

Thanks
