Hi, i got over the dao/jet db engine problem, PIMS file manager loads up fine,
but when i go to file manager and try to dowload or upload an image,
or anything else, it just doesnt work.
For example, the drop down menu for the phone contents doesnt drop down
when i want to download an image.
And is it meant to say online at the bottom? because it doesnt at the mo.
it would be really helpful if any1's got ne advice. icon_wink.gif

Hi there,
Have you gone to "Setup" and got all the right fields for it to connect from your phone to your PC?? Are you using Infrared or data cable? icon_biggrin.gif

What driver are you using for your cable? Is it Prolific? When you plug in the cable to your computer, did you always plug in the same usb port? Normally, when you plug in the same usb port, it won't create another COM port. It only create another one when you plug in another usb port.

I dont know what the problem is, but I downloaded the software from the Samsung official site (free) and have (touch wood) had no problems with it since. Good luck!
