lol.... uhhh samsungs easygrps is made to work on windows and with a serial com port... so u can come to your own conclusion that it DOES WORK. and on top of that you bought a non oem serial from EBAY.... which would explain why it doesnt work.... maybe you got SCAMMED!

I did get scammed but what the hell is NON OEM (what does it stand for) Original Equipent Manufacturer or something like that... anyway!! btw, I'm getting my money back I just sent back the Item #3075085171 I just purchased USB Data Cable Samsung V205-E105-E715 NEW.. Item number #3087509415 hopefully this one will work!!! It doesn't say anything about NON OEM there and it looks ligit..

Here's the link to the USB Data Cable I just ordered.. If this doesn't work I'm going to kill someone!!! lol.. Anyway, I got scammed with the NON OEM thing your right..

That cable looks like an aftermarket (non-OEM) cable. They do not work. OEM is what you need. A Samsung branded cable with EasyGPRS. I think you probably got scammed twice! Make sure when you are searching for a cable, you type in OEM. This cable and disc looks like the right one:

I'm not sure yet but I kept my invoice so if that's the case I'm going to send back and order this one.. BUt, it does not indicate NON OEM for the one I just ordered?? I have strange feeling about it but I just don't understand why NON OEM wont work and why there selling it @ ebay and claiming it works with Samsung phones??

I don't know why someone would sell something that doesn't work. It has been widely discussed on this forum that Non-OEM cables simply do not work for what we want them to work for.

hi...i bought V200 with a serial cable and Easy gprs software.i install the program and etc...but he is not recognizing my phone at all...can someone guide me where can be a problem ...tnx

Did you downloaded exact EasyGPRS software for your phone?

Also, after you open the EasyGPRS software, do you run the setup menu (File -> Setup) and choosed the right COM port for your data cable?

my current version of easy gprs is 2.1.2 and it is on cd rom...i tried everything like switching cable from com 1 to com 2,but my computer does not recognizing the foun at all,can be a cable problem or?cable is:downloading cable model:PCB037DBE?THANKS A LOT

The PCB037DBE is the T100 data cable and it doesn't work with the V200.
