Every company that I have sold charges you for pic messaging. Why else would the companies make it a feature if they didn't charge for it. Just like text messaging. Sounds like you need to check the mms settings on you samsung. *#vsmms# will let you check them. If you need the settings, email me at southcomm2@earthlink.net. Also for you camera junkies out there, try pixtopix.com Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but will let you know if it works as soon as possible. Good luck PCW2

There are serveral things you need to check to make sure you are capabile of sending picture messaging - let me run you through some troubleshooting. First, you dont need to subscribe to the t-zones unlimited - but your phone should be able to access the normal t-zones (where you can download stuff, but not much else). If it does not, something is wrong with your data configuration. Make sure to register your mobile number under t-mobile.com. If your able to access t-zones limited, try sending a picture message to an email. Does it work? Then there might be some problem between the compability of your friends phones with the size or quality of pictures you are sending them. If you cant send it to email, check your text messaging.. does it work? If it works, and your data works try calling customer care, they will get you over to Tech support after repeating the steps I just told you to try and they will reregister your data uplink with the HLR - this should fix it if nothing else does. Good luck.

per the last post... the other phones that can recieve picture messages or mms are the samsung e105, nokia 3595, and the samsung x105. In order to get provisioned to recieve mms or picture messages is to send an mms to your own mobile # with the area code and that will provision you in the server to recieve mms.
This may sound stupid, but what is a mms? Where do i find one? how do I send it to my phone? I want to be able to recieve pictures on my phone.

I've had this darn phone since June of this year and have yet to find any reliable information on recieving Pictures on the phone even though it does have an Inbox under Picture Messages. Can you or can' you not send pictures to this phone for saving as wallpapers?!?!? icon_sad.gif icon_cry.gif

I'm a newbie with the service. I just got myself a v300. I plan to take a lot of pictures with my phone since I travel 2 weeks out of the month (business.)

Anyway, I need to email the photos to my clients. My questions is, what is the difference between "Photo Messaging" and "T-Zone limited"? I understand the web stuff with t-zone but the confusing part is the email with photos. Both are $9.99 (I believe.)

Can someboby explain which service is beter in turns of sending photos via the phone? They both cost about the same and I don't receive photos and are not planning on to.

Thanks in advance.

T-Zones allows you to access wap-based Internet website using your capable handset, photo messages is a feature that allows you to send and receive picture messages, unlimited is 9.99 although I believe that this feature is no longer available at this writing so I’m assuming that you already have it

With T-Zones at 4.99 per month you have unlimited access to wap-based sites but the features that you use on those sites may cost extra such as instant messages which is .05 to send and receive instant messages and picture messages is .25 per message if you do not have the package feature for picture messaging.

It’s more so the megapixels of the handset which is changing all the time but you do better if you want quality pictures to simply use a digital camera.

well that can work in some case, but not in mine. i just bought a actaully tmo phone(i had a slvr but i got tired of it)i got a v3, and i tried several times to send pic msgs. i even called CS and they guy told me the same thing, but to no avail still. talked to tech support and they say if that network towers save your net info and relay that to the next tower you move into, but if you keep moving around the info and your net info get all mixed up so you need to reset that by turning off you phone(like 30 sec)and it will work. try that
