Is there a way of adding extra tunes to the text message receiving section instead of the 10 defaults that are in there?
When I go Menu 3.2.1.1 I can't have any other tone than the 10 defaults that are there, same with the multimedia messaging.
Also, is there any way of assigning ringtones to certain members of the phone book and not just to groups.
Sorry for the newbie questions.
Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately, those tunes can't be changed... That is one of E700 bugs ... Only option for changing this is to modify your firmware version (wich was downloaded ... you can get from there your firmware: http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic4919.html) with "Samsung Firmware Browser & Modding by Januka" wich allow you to modify default ringtones + an serial data cable, in order to have your preffered ringtones.

DON'T FORGET: a SERIAL data cable. NOT usb or irda datacable.

USB data cables have not been tested. Mostly of firmware programs works with a serial cable. USB data cable could work, but in same time, could not. That is the reason: have not been tested yet by programmers.

which of the firmware for e700 support setting my own uploaded media for group/individual people
because currently i can only use default ringtone for group or individual!!!
