Hey Raunak, wasup.

The 3650 is one of the best fones i have ever used. The only reason i wanted to change one wuz bcos i wanted one with a stereo mp3 playing capability.
As of now those plans r shelved, im still with my trusty 3650. icon_biggrin.gif
I loved the fone bcos of its OS and IMO Symbian is the future!!!!
Coz once u use it, there r chances u wont change back to series 40 again. icon_biggrin.gif

However, i have been hearing rumours abt the dealers not gettin dtocks of the 3650 since Nokia is now promoting the 3660(which is better than the 3650). So if ur goin the symbian way, here r the options:
3650/3660: Lower end symbian fones.
6600: Medium range symbian.
Px00: Premium range symbian fones.

Can you tell me exactly wat are the problems your find in 3650

good to know that its avaliable cheap now,i think it is 12300 now.where to buy a fone and do u think i should buy it with warranty.

can u give me ur number. So that i can contact u .u can take down my number
do u think i should go for a 3650 or a 3660

if u say to go for 3650 with warrany than 3660 will be a good option

3660 available at 15000 with 2 years warranty

from which shop should i buy the fone.I have generally brought it from alfa.is there any other shop which gives at good price and also a good mobile

MOD-EDIT: Number removed for security reasons. Could result in sum prank calls. Just takin it out as a precaution.

Its a gr8 fone!!!! For the price u get it for, its definitely gr8.
I've got abt 3 friends who've gotten this fone for abt nearly the same price as u mentioned.

If its a fone ur gonna keep for a long time, i'd say definitely go for a warranty piece. I always buy my fones with warranty, so thats the advice i'll give u.
Generally all my fones r frm alfa too, hez reliable n cheap.

The main difference betn the 3650 and the 3660 is the screen, the keypad is trivial, u'll get used to it. I assume u must have checked out both fones at a local dealer by now.

So if the screen is important to u(and the keypad), then i'd say go for the 3660 coz the 3660 deal is also good, especially with that warranty package.

But if the screen n keypad dont matter that much, and if u get a similar deal with the 3650, i'd say go for it. Otherwise, get the 3660.

Ur number's been noted man. I'll sms u soon, by saturday or sunday. I'd lik to sooner, but i've got sum xams to give n till that i'll be just 2 busy.

btw, where in mumbai u stay?

And on a note, i'd just say that the 6600 is definitely the best of these 3. I know its real costly, but if u've got the cash, spend on it. icon_biggrin.gif

Im in my Third Yr of Engineering(just completin it). I stay at powai.

The volume is a little low(default ones r pretty loud), but as a college student i rarely have it on ringer, and the fone's vibrator is pretty strong. Even wen i have it on ringer, i can still hear it in any room of my house.

U'll have to charge ur phone every 1.5 - 2 days.

Faceplates r costly(and good ones r hard to find. U can get cheap ones at herra panna for abt 300 rs.), in fact any accessory is costly(except HDD-1 headset, which is a must, imo).

U'll take sum time gettin used to the symbian os tho.

Ohh and one more thing, the vibrator makes quite a noise. icon_biggrin.gif Its quite strong, and its a boon for me.

Screen is a little hard to read sumtimes on real hot sunny days.(3660 has a better screen in that respect)

U cannot keep sim as default phonebook. It has to be the phonebook of the phone.

I did find the calendar a bit wierd to use as compared to series 40 earlier, but now im very comfortable with it.

Alarm is not as loud as on a 3530.
