Nokia Previews N-Gage II

At a press event in Barcelona today, Nokia revealed the first details of its upcoming N-Gage II gaming device. The redesigned N-Gage replaces the awkward "side-talking" speaker and microphone arrangement with a more natural bone-conduction sound element. The end of the phone is held against the cheekbone to place a call. The memory card slot has also been relocated. Memory cards can now be swapped using an easy 12-step process involving a form of Finnish Yoga. The bone-conduction technology is licensed from Sanyo, who launched the first bone-conduction phone in Japan in December.
