Hi,
I am using a nokia 9210i. I want to start using internet on that. I am currently having Orange, Mumbai, India as my service provider. Is it possible to surf the internet on my nokia using my current service provider's internet services? I enquired from the provider and found that currently they dont offer anything. Thanks in advance.

I believe u can. I've seen a lot of people coming down to the Orange stores for WAP settings wen i visit there. The 9210i does NOT support GPRS, it supports only WAP. So make sure u ask just for wap settings, not for GPRS.

Symbian ROCKS!!! Its the future.
I'd suggest stick with the 3650 n wait for the 7700 or the 9500.
7700: Again a taco like the n-gage, but a real sweet fone, imo. touchscreen with lots features.
9500: Again, awesome, but BIG on size. Also supports wi-fi(i think), i could be mistaken here.

Naaa, sit and wait... Linux is coming, there are some phone which allready work with Linux and it's quite impressing.
Especially because Linux the open source, so the phones features can be expanded quite wide since linux supports nearly every sort of files.

hmmm. Still time for that imo. Especially since Nokia wont support linux as they have symbian. Also, if i remember correctly, SE, Samsung have moved to microsoft(their new stinger os if i am not mistaken). Only biggie in the market with a linux fone i know of is Motorola, whose products i dont trust(out of sum personal bad experiences).
As far as adaptibilty is concerned, symbian has proven itself, and support for nearly all file types is there, inlcuding doc, ppt, pdf, mp3&4, mpeg etc.
The only advantage of linux is 'open-source', so no royalties to other companies meaning cheaper fones(unless the companies wanna make a bad ass profit ).

Nice article
Symbian is good, no doubt, but Linux brings alot more for the future, I hope the companies relize it before it's too late. As I know Nokia, they gonna push Symbian till the end...
