Ok, i been at this for ages and im startin to get annoyed
i want to convert an mp3 song into a mmf ringtone on my e700
obviously i cant convert the whole song so ive cut it down to 10seconds and saved it as a wav, then using psm play i have saved it as SMAF 16chord, it comes to 40kb which is ok (i think its a 50kb limit on my phone) but when i try to download it, it says "Unsupported content" so oviously ive not got the format right, but i cant figure out what im doin wrong, and ive tryed so many combinations of things
can anyone help me out?
i would appreciate it

It's imposible to have all song as mmf... it have no sense.
First u must have some wav editing soft like cool edit or soundforge etc
make loop, set sample rate to 8000 and resolution to 16 bit
download wscma2u.exe (http://lukasz.ath.cx/wscma2u.exe)
drag and drop / convert / enjoj

You'll also find you have a 32kb limit on the E700
You can find ready made mp3 loops at

ok... last post from me on this topic, but ive finally cut my file down to like 5 seconds, and saved it as a wav 16bit 8000rate, mono, the file size is 82kb, when i use that WSC-MA2 tool and drag the file onto it, i get the error Invalid file header oO.
ive tryed it with the same file in stereo too and it does the same, i dont know whats wrong, can anyone help out??
another thing is with the same file that wouldnt work in WSC-MA2 ive used PSM play, and converted it to mmf sucessfully, 16chords(ezweb). the file size comes to 21kb, so i though it would be fine, when i come to transfering it, "Unsupported content type"
Grr this is really doin my head in, everything i do doesnt work anyone know wat im doin wrong?

I've just downloaded your .wav file and dropped it into wscma2 and it converted straight away to a 39.1kb file with no probs. The file is fine

I've put in the request folder here
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LOOP_GROUP/
Try it out for yourself, shortened the sample a bit so as you can get it on the E700
