Does anybody noticed the background flickering if you use a light wallpaper? try with tropical island...or even with some games? Is it normal or my display is starting to broke?

I had the same problem, thought it was interference with flourescent light in the office, but I now notice it all the time. Looks like the flickering from old crt monitors.

My first 6610 flickered so bad that I had it replaced. The second 6610 flickers just a bit but it looks a lot better than the first one.

The flickering occurs on my phone too. The brightness of the screen also varies when the clock (screensaver) is visible and switched to the wallpaper when the keypad is not locked. If a light coloured wallpaper is used (i.e. turquoise) vertical waves can be seen moving from one end to the other side of the screen if you notice closely. Is this the screen problem or is it software related? Any solutions? I'm using V4.28 by the way.

I hope is a software related problem, but it surely is. I've also noticed the screen is becoming suddenly dark when I play Bounce or other games, then 10 seconds later it return normal...very strange
