I recently got a Sony T68i phone and have been trying to piece together how to get the Bluetooth-to-PC sync to work as well as other means of manipulating the phone via Bluetooth.
The following is a general outline of what you need to get the phone set up under Windows 2000/XP, Bluetooth, and sync with Outlook.
-- Download the following software from SonyEricsson.com
-- Mobile Phone Monitor (req'd for Bluetooth via COM)
-- Communications Suite 1.5.1 (this includes the XTNDConnecct PC software)
Install the above. Be sure your Bluetooth software is already installed and you have Paired your phone with your PC. Make note of the COM port that is used for the connection (mine is COM5).
Establish a Bluetooth connection from T68 to PC. Open Control Panel | Phone Monitor Options and click the COM Ports tab. Locate your COM port and Enable. Click OK.
You may need to reconnect the T68's Bluetooth. Windows will discover the phone and should give you a dialog box to add your phone and SIM card. Click on through.
Load the XTNDConnect software and configure the sync settings as you'd like.
When needing to sync:
-- Connect via Bluetooth
-- Synchronize XTNDConnect (or use auto-sync option if desired)
-- Disconnect or let Bluetooth time out
There is nothing within XTNDConnect to set as a COM port - this is what the Mobile Phone Monitor does. It is plug and play but getting all the pieces in place is the challenge.
SendFile (http://www.christersson.org/software_sendfile.asp) will now work once Mobile Phone Manager is installed.
Here's a site with some pics and notes on these steps (http://www.oozp.org/xntdbt.htm). I'm not the author of that site but it helped me along.
If any of this is a repost, please disregard.

Hello Friends,
A couple days ago i bought a new lapop sony vaio S1xp.
I deside to sychronize my mobile(T68i) with my new laptop,
So I read the Sony ericsson tutorials but nothing goes well.
I made pair device with my laptop (with bluespace software) I can see the my mobile in bluespace so I made the paire.
Everything was okie I also made a DUN connection to internet and everything looks great.
I continue with the installation of phone monitor software and enable com ports ( during installation bluetooth on both devices was active and paired) but phone monitor does not find any mobile......
I made a restart but nothing happend, I also install the suite but nothing happend also and there are not conflicts at all.
I believe that something happends with bluetooth communication do you have any ideas why ?????
Best regards
Simos

Yea some motherboards do, well mine did, MSI-KT400, i think. anyways, it was a output plate at the back, and a usb on the same spur. If u goto:
right click my computer/properties/hardware/device manager. click on modems-should see something like "bluetooth fax modem" etc or u might have a bluetooth option there if there is one that is.
If not u can get bluetooth USB dongles now for about £5.
hope it helps ya
