My Requierments are:
I want the phone that can show the person picture when they call you
I want to be able to msg ur picture to others
I want to be able to change my ringtone with songs that i like (like personal ringtone)
It needs to be tri-band cause i am asian n i am in usa right now, so i want to buy phone that last so i dont need to buy it again once i am back to my country
I want phone that have lots of memory (that way i can take my friends picture without needing to choose which one i should keep)
Also like to have phone that can video record too (cause sometimes there is moments just to special to let it pass u by) (but if the phone does not have it, i'm ok with that)

icon_razz.gif As for the radio and all those stuff (it's good to have them but it is not requiered)

Wah.. kinda lots of requirement huh icon_lol.gif

The price also matter actually:
nokia 6230 = $480
Nokia 6600 = $450
Samsung e715 =$250
Confusedd rightt?? icon_cry.gif

THank you in advance for helping me...

Picture caller id can be done via 6600 the best. U can get a full screen caller id(via an external app). I tink the 6230 also does this(confirm this tho)
There r sum issues wrt the 6600's mms as sum carriers might not support wap 2.0(most carriers do)
6600 supports wav tones i.e. clips frm a wav file with lyrics as actual tone. However E700/715 has best poly tones(40).
6230 allows u to put mp3 tones as ringers.

6600 and 6230 have expandable memory slot where u can add mmcs upto 512 mb(for 6600) and upto 128 or 156 mb for 6230.
Also, 6600(unlimited using an external app) and 6230(limited 10 mins) have video recorder.
E715 has fixed memory and no video recording and no picture caller id too(i could be wrong). Also if am not mistaken, the E715 is only dual-band.

So unkess u have any need for pda features....i'd say a good buy for u would be the 6230.

The 6600 is nice too(mebbe the top sellin fone in its category). But if u want sumthin nice and small, and u dont really require pda functions, the 6230 is a good fone.

Camera quality on the 6600 is nice.
But the E715 has a flash, so i guess it'll have a good cam too(never seen any of its pictures, u mite wanna check in the samsung forum for this).

Hi, is the 6230 symbian? or whatever its called, i have just bought a 6220 and i have already got it up for sale for the 6230, the 6230 if the best phone on the market at the moment, Bluetooth, it takes up to a 1 Gig memory card for listening to mp3s, it doesnt have monophonic or polyphonic, IT PLAYS REALTONES!, not sure if it displays the caller's photo as a full screen or a half size in the bottom corner, if it is any better than my 6220 i will be rapt!

Sorry to be so narrow minded but my choice out of the 3 is the 6230,
Cheers
Justin

It is the top selling phone.

However, there seem to be problems with phones running on older firmware. Just check this out when buying.
