Im still on 4.18 firmware but would love to upgrade to 4.72 or 5 . Ive called my Nokia Care Centre today only to find out that they only have 4.28. Anyone know when these are going to hit Australia? Does 5.0 exist?

 I know that in Russia 5.0 will be at summer, but I don't know when exactly Nokia is making new firware for all color nokia phones which were manufactured in 2002 including 7250, but I don't know about 7650 or 3650

4.72 was just released in Malaysia for the 6610/7210...the backlight problem is solved, the screensaver is brighter and the overall display is more crisp and the software seems more stable too...

today i asked for a software upgrade for my nokia 6610 here in Italy...only version 4.18 was avaiable, anyway the nokia man told me next month any nokia center will have 4.78 version...

Software-Versions are different from country to country. I wrote that in a posting a few days ago.
Germany is still 4.18 - but that doesn't say, that it's worse than a 4.28 or 4.72 version! I've got the 4.18 version and I don't got the issues which were described here for the 4.18 version.

I read your post JameLast but the man explicit told me that this 4.18 version still have the no backlight for caller groups bug

Hi aceedburn, I'm from Malaysia too and I recently upgraded my 7210 software to V 4.28... It seems they don't have a newer version... Could you pls tell me where i could upgrade to a newer version?

Hi everybody,
This will probably make me sound very ignorant to most of you (and you're quite right - I've only had my Nokia 6610 for one day), but I'm not sure how to find out which firmware version I've got. Can anyone tell me how to find out?
