I've tried this program - as soon as I turn on my mobile when it says to, I get a message saying "BOOT : Problem with program in external RAM : StackPointer not set".
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there anything I can do about it?

@whatgift
Do not turn it on exactly.
When You start the program, connect the phone to the cable and press the 'end' (red) button once or twice quickly.
@Januka
Can this sw be used to dump x100, x600?

A dumper is a software tool for backing up the firmware in your handset.
For deleting all photos at once, on the E700 its item 4 in Menu 8 (the camera one), on mine anyway. Fairly simple to use.

I really wanted a backup from my original FW, not only BIN but TFS as well. Nor flash was ok first try but nand flash went astray as stated on all forums I’ve read so far. Someone made a point that the problem was in the file tfs.cfg witch is in the original install dir. So I fiddled around with this file for a while and, eureka, finally I managed to make a 100% TFS backup.
The problem is that the file has to match the TFS in your phone. The easiest way to accomplice this is to extract a .cfg file from a FW found on the net that is the same as the one on your handy. My firmware is E70XAWJ4 and I couldn’t find it so I compared tfs.cfg to the one I extracted from fw E70ABDA1. There are differences between those two at 5 points (see yourself). Since my first try with the original file went wrong at 91% (file name is null) my guess was that I had to change little to the original tsf.cfg. Problem turned out to be the last lines in tsf.cfg concerning java applets. I copied these lines from E70ABDA1.cfg and voila, a good backup.
Bottom line, modify your tsf.cfg in the install dir of Dumper.
Note: I brought back my phone to the absolute original state meaning no downloaded ringtones, pictures and java midleds. Leaving those on your phone could mean adding lines to tsf.cfg. Good luck
Question, has anybody succeeded in flashing his backup back to the phone because file sizes are not normal.

Hello, I'm trying to use dumper 1.8 without much luck, can anyone help me out? When I click start and am asked to turn my phone on I get a boot error message (in dumper) it I hold the button down long enough for the phone to turn on. If I just breifly press the power button, dumper sets off OK and seems to download 16MB of data but at the end I get a message along the lines of unable to turn the phone off. If I then load the dump file into Januka it just looks like random noise. Neither the image nor the ringtone scans find anything and I cant find anything manually paging through. Can someone please suggest where I am going wrong?
Thanks
Alan

Dumper 1.8 is one hell of a buggy software so if you really want to flash your phone just do it, cause making a full backup is impossible unless you use UST which cost 300$ (2 New phones). But maybe dumper 1.8.1 is a fix of 1.8 im not sure you can try it if you want http://www.52samsung.com/Soft/samsungsoft/e/e708/200408/486.html .

Thanks for the info! I can't even work out how to download 1.8.1 from the link you sent (my Korean isn't that good) so I guess I'll have to leave it for now (I'm not game to flash without a valid backup and I don't have the O2 firmware to flash anyway)
Cheers
