strange, if im correct you dont need drivers, only Easy_GPRS. You can download it @ the official samsung site. I`m using too irda but on my laptop with win 2000. Its also NT 4.0 (and XP 5.0) but orginal its the same. I only had to install Easy_GPRS and i could do the most common things with my gsm.

If its a USB irda unplug it and put it in another hole your phone doesn't need drivers your irda device does. And install EasyStudio if you don't have it http://uk.samsungmobile.com//mobile_phone/sgh-e700/driver/Easy%20Studi o%201.0_PIMS%20&%20File%20Manager.zip

Are there any known problems using Easy Studio with Windows ME. Although my PC goes online using the IRDA adapter I still can't transfer anything between it and my E700.

I get an icon in the taskbar which I assume means that my PC has detected my phone.

@holein1
Open EasyStudio and go to File - Setup and change port to IrDa at max speed.
@kammiz
Did you changed the speed somewhere in your computer?

Don,
I've tried every port and every speed but still no joy. To say that I'm bewildered is an understatement.
