Is there anyway to find out exactly how many text msg's have been sent/received on a phone? V551 Cingular sent me a bill with over 1200 txt msg's sent/rec and the following month 426 txt msg's. There is absolutely no way that this occured. And my son has told me that he isn't getting txt msg's that people say they sent, yet we get billed? Something is really wrong with this picture.

Man! I must be lucky to have had great service from Cingular for the last 3 years. I brag about their coverage and customer service to everyone I talk to when they are complaining about T-Mobile, Verizon, or Sprint.
Like I said, maybe I've just been lucky so far.

Well, you'll all be happy to know.
as of about a week ago.
Cingluar officially SUCKS.
I, being a 15 year old female, use my text messaging EVERY DAY. Well, guess what.
I send people messages, and never get anything back. These people begin calling me, asking me why I'm being a snob.
"A snob?" I say. I was not getting ANY of my incoming messages from people with Alltel. Now I'm only getting messages from people with Cingluar.
I have sadly spent HOURS on the phone with numerous Cingluar reps, techs, and even a lady from Alltell, whom, to say the least, was very rude and basically called me stupid, saying that my number had been used under an Alltel carrier.
Wrong. I've had my number for about 3 years, and it has NEVER once been under an Alltel contract of ANY kind. Then she tells me I must change my number. Hah. Right lady. Right.
I've learned that there is some type of "outage" going on between the two companys (cingluar and alltel) and they've put in over 200 and somethin hours working on it (woohoo 4 them).
I have 13 months left on this contract, but I'm seriously debating on switching to a different service provider if Cingluar doesn't get their crap together!
