I like my phone to ring and vibe at the same time. All of the ringtones that come built into the phone will do this if you turn the vibe on in your phone settings. However, if I select a midi file that I have created/downloaded as a ringtone, I do not get any vibe along with it on this phone (7250).
Is there a certain tone/note, etc. that I can insert/edit into my midi files which will activate the vibe while the ringtone is playing? I like my ringtones, but MUST have the vibe as well. Has anybody else experienced this? How did you deal with it?
Thanks!

That's normal... the ringtones which come with the phone are special creations of nokia.
It's not hardware-based for the nokia phones to interpret the ringtones and vibe correctly.
You have to "program" the tone so that it vibes correctly to the sound. But I don't know how to do this.

exactly, i was asking myself the same thing and simply cant understand how to make my phone vibe with a song so i tryed to copy Espionage.mid to my pc, one of the default nokia tone which correctly vibes in the phone, then i changed its name into espionage2.mid and put it again into the phone...the result? Espionage.mid vibes correctly, espionage2.mid doesn't. So apparently there are no way to make this kind of tones
Hmmm..very interesting. I good test you have performed there. Perhaps Nokia will (one day) release an editor to control vibration in ringtones. Sony Ericsson's T-68(i) supports this as well as the ability to change the way the backlight flashes to the tone.

not true, I've just tried on my 6100, copied out the 'William Tell' tune, and copy it back renamed to WT, it still does it.
So I believe it is a certain track that decides when and how it vibrates....
if only someone can tell me how....[/b]

Channel 16 to lets your tones vibrate.
I opened Songette in Cubase SX and it showed me that the vibra*copied has ch 16 bound to it.
If I only could find a decent SP-midi editor, 'cause the Nokia Adio plug-in doesn't work here at all. I'm able to open the demo song that come's with it, and then I can choose SP-Midi as output, but not when I create a new project ( and jep I'm totaly new with Cubase ).
