Greetings all....... I have a couple of questions for anybody who can answer them or rather clear up for me.....
I bought a samsung mobile from Thailand two months ago. Funny thing is, it said E715 on the box and on the inside of the phone. BUT....it also said "T-Mobile" on the outside and when i switched it on it said "VODAFONE" on the screen and all other options were related to VODAFONE. (yes.i'm talkin abt the big red ugly site that ppl with E710 have to put up with).
My questions:
1. Is my phone an E715 or an E710?
2. Is my phone the only one with a video recorder in it? cuz I haven't come across any other phone which has it mentioned nor have I seen it mentioned in the user manual.
Any help with these questions would be appreaciated....

1. Its both
2. Every E710 firmware has that video recording function.
Which version do you have? (*#7777#)

E71BUWL2 for me. So what is the difference between the E710 and E715 both visually and functionally?
Cheers

Shitty. How about physically? Dont really need the languages. Haven't seen menu for E710 so cannot comment which one is better. I like the video phone. Damn. So will this new unbranded firmware allow E715 users to keep the functionality whilst gaining the GUI of the E710?

The Right one (») is E715 firmware and the left one («) is E710 Firmware. So physically it will be a good thing to flash your phone to E715 for now cause the red makes people stress.

You can use the V200's data cable for flashing. But both housings have a sticker on it but the E715 has less.

Are cool. So what do I need to know about flashinig (except voiding warranty) before I proceed?
1) Will I lose all data eg photos, contacts, sms etc
2) If anything bad happens during or after flashing, is there any way to restore the old firmware?
Anything else I missed?

1. Nope everything stays.
2. You can reflash any time you want.
Thats about it.
