Yeah,

Downloader v3.3 worked ok for me when i flashed back.

i have succesfully flashed other peoples firmware no problem

The problem i had was using my own backed up firmware
which wasnt correct due to NAND problem using dumper 1.8

Yes, I did. Dumper reached 100%.

Only thing is the resulting file size. It's about 11,5 MB. Original firmwares found on the net are 4,4 MB or there about. I didn't try flashing my backup yet, but I expect the same problem as the topicstarter. Not enough sectors.

------------

Come to think of it, is renaming your backup file really enough? Nor backup is also bigger than the downloaded firmwares (16,4 MB against 13,3 MB)
Aren't you supposed to compile the result or something?

Pls help.. im a newbie here, took me a few days to juz browse through the abundance of information here.
First problem, i dun even know what is my mobile, is it e715 or e710? Its FW is E71BUWL2 other then that its T-mobile on vodalive... Can't seem to program the softkeys, cannot use the IrDA either. The games have been deleted and I can't use the local net GPRS. Im base in Singapore, though there are no compatbility issues, i.e. i can use and sms, thats about all i can do.
Im at a complete loss as i want to re-flash my phone so that it becomes normal, i.e. can use local GPRS, can program softkeys, no longer juz vodalive and also flash it to S38ZCWB8 so that i can read both english and chinese...
All the experts here, can help???
Thks plenty....
