Don, i have a feeling this one is for you..

i have read this forum for sometime now to gain info about flashing my phone (E700)

So i have purchased the PC133LBE cable as recommended.

Have backed up my firmware using dumper 1.8 (well i think i have)

But i cant flash it back using downloader 3.3.

Heres what i did.

In dumper i selected the NOR function and everything went OK.
It created a Dump.txt in the Program directory.

I renamed this to.bin so i could browse it using januka's program.

but when i came to flash it back using download 3.3 it would have it.

"not enough sectors for this software" error came up.

I have also heard people mention switching your cable to D/L mode..?? (cant see this anywhere)

To get my phone working again i flashed a firmware from this site to my phone but now i have a different IMEI number and also my service (O2) has limited service.

Please can someone figure out what i did wrong.

PS.. how come when i use your firmware you have .bin files plus others..??

What gave you the "not enough sectors for this software" janukas software or downloader?

Your PCB133LBE is suppose to have a switch but if doesn't and its working it doesn't matter.

I mailled you about fixing your imei.

The .tfs file is the nand it contains the menu pictures, wallpapers, ringtones, java games and a few more.

Thanks for the quick response don.

The error came from the Downloader 3.3

Did i do right by renaming the dump.txt file..??

was i supposed to get any more files..??

Which firmware did you have when you bought the phone?
I think you imei is causing you the limited service thing. Try entering any thing as password 12345 or something like that.
