Hi,
You've posted one of the most popular questions on this forum..! icon_cool.gif

Don't take it seriouse..! icon_razz.gif

So i too have a DataCable for my phone..! But i heard that i couldn't do the transferring vise versa..!

PC -> Phone (Allowed)
Phone -> Pc (Not Allowed)

I even tried..! Was Not Successful At All..! tried tones, themes, games, pictures,.

But Still...

One of my friends who is of course elder than me said that he did it on a Nokia 6610 using a DataCable and used Oxygen Phone Manager full version...

Oxygen Phone Manager doesn't support any Sony ericsson phone other than P800-P900 since they released a version which supports all Symbion Operating System compatible phones.

SE Z600 is not a Symbion OS compatible phone. So hope that this wouldn't come right.

My last suggestions are,

1. Use GPRS or W@P to transffer Data.
2. Purchase an IrDa device on E-bay where i bought one for $7.99 excluding shipping.
3. I'm not sure about it but, If you have BlueTooth Then Use It.

Bye Hope This Was Useful..! icon_rolleyes.gif

Buddy,

U have a Z600, in my opinion one of the best phones on the market for its price and features... One of these great features is BLUETOOTH, if u want seamless picture, tone, theme, and phonebook sync with pc... USE IT.

My suggestion is get urself a usb bluetooth dongle (card) ranging in price from $20 AU (cheapy on ebay) all the way to a $93 AU D-Link DBT-120 card from a pc store. and then download floats mobile agant 0.1.0.35 RC5 off the net (Its free).

install all of this and u will be able to transfer all the pics, games, themes, tones u want. plus archive all ur txt msgs so u free up space on the phone. plus phonebook editing and synchronization! all of this with up to ten metres of wireless movement from ur pc!

If ur gonna buy a phone with all of these features including BT then u migh as well use it

BLUETOOTH ROCKS (screw the data cable)

Wat r all those childish remarks meant 2 mean ? Whoeva is stupid enough 2 flash there own phone anyway is quite silly. As 4 unlocking, the majority of people a) dont buy locked phones ova the net. And b) if the phone isnt hot they can have it unlocked for close 2 nothing anyway. The cable is a dieing species. Why use a cable designed 4 phonebook sync with min transfer options when u can sync wirelessly without even taking ur phone out of ur pocket? I think u will find ur not gonna win this arguement.

Yup..! today we do find such development..! I agree..! but it's not supposed to forget anything old. Consider cars... Do we forget about the old vintage technology. We highly consider on them. Because they were the stepping stones.
