If your cable starts acting like a charger you have the wrong cable try to get your money back and get a Serial Data cable (PCB133LBE). Serial always works (if you have the OEM one).

again, why dont you fucking read a little closer... i provided a link to a OEM cable. both my post...... if u handt noticed.... was all about an oem cable and specifcally said its not even an issue because it is OEM and not like 3rd party cables, such as the one you have. OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer.
that was the issue i had with u not knowing jack shit, i dont know anyone who would disspute an oem cable, but i see why now, u werent fucking reading, you were talking bout ur shitty usb.
i said it before, and as don jsut stated.... oem will always work. i provided a link to one. its 32 quid.
honestly thats what you get for beign a cheap ass and buying soem halfassed shit off ebay which has no garuntees.
don just said it all right there... if your phone sees your cable as a charger, theres nothing you can do about it, you got the wrong fuckign cable. so even if i showed u several usb to serial drivers it wouldnt work cause u got fucking ripped off.

No need for the language. These guys dont have to reply to your post, they do it to try and help. I just received my Data cable for my E700. It works, i even downloaded my firmware successfully using Janukas Dumper 1.8 (thanks Januka, keep up the good work!). The cable is an OEM serial data cable Model PCB133LBE i got from Direct mobile acessories in the UK, worked out to be 60 bucks Australian. I prevously tossed up between getting the USB or irda from ebay- I brought the irda it was a waste of my time and money, I cant comment on the USB but i know that the OEM one works for sure, even though it is costly.
Cheers
