Hi,
My Nokia 7210 does not seem to have a plain old "ring ring" ringtone!
Is this correct or has it been deleted?
And to make matters worse the included ringtones are prity bad!
Also I can't seem to load any of my old ringtones (i'm guessing the 7210 only supports poly ringtones?).
Can anyone help me out here? Does anyone have a plain old "ring ring" polyphonic ring tone they could send me?
Cheers

You can still use your old ringtones, but you will need a specific program to upload them, cause they have to be converted into "poly" ringtone even if they are mono-track, try using Oxigen Phonemanager II, I found it very easy, you can manually compose your ringtone...

You don't need to convert it! If it is mono, the phone will play it without converting! You also can still get normal ringtones from website (where you buy them) which work without an problem...
mono ringtones are mostly made with the keyboard-sound, which works without converting

He's right. Normal tones will be played by the phone. Just 1 instrument.

Thanks for the replys!
I have tried oxygen phonemanager !! (demo) and logo manager and the nokia phone suite, but I cant seem to copy ANY ringtones from my old phone (8310) to the computer.
Is there anyway to do this? (btw I'm using the IR link). Or failing that has anyone got a plain old "ring ring" ringtone that could send me a link to or send me??
Cheers

mmm are you trying to copy your old ringtone FROM your 8310 TO your pc?
if so i don't think this is possible...you have to manually rewrite your ringtones into Oxigen...cause the new ringtones are .mid, even if they are one instrument only

Yes I am trying to get the "ring ring"(or "ringing" I forget which) ringtone that came as a standard ringtone on all my previouse nokia handsets but does not seem to be included on my 7210. (All I wan't is for my 7210 to "Ring" like a phone when someone calls?).
So I was wondering if It could be downloaded from a previous handset ie an 8310.
