because in theory your could delete (or i rather say. replace) all (i think) lame ringtones and put all your favorites in.
I can only add 6 or 7 ringtones now and 6 own backgrounds..

unfortunately you cannot delete or replace the 'preinstalled' logos and ringtones.... as much as id like the same as well we are stuck in this consumer cycle where we cant have everything. 
one thing though, not alot of people noticed i guess... is that the alarm settings (daily, once alarm, morning calls) USED to allow me to select ringtones i have downloaded (personal ringtones if you may) for my alarm selection, now when i flashed the fone, it ONLY, i repeat, ONLY allows you to use the DEFAULT ringtones, meaning you are stuck in the vast quantities of space consuming cutesy ringtones...

Dude, all the ringtones and logos ARE included in the firmware and you CAN replace them with others. I have done it....
