No, i dont think u can, cable only i believe. But if his irda isnt working, wouldnt it be dumb of me to suggest him to flash [with irda?]

Hi, I went across to the Samsung service center and they used my irda and it worked with a c100. But it does not detect the e700 or the v220. Any news on that?

Flashing is upgrading the software on your phone which you can only do with a cable.
Do any of you guys use IRCOMM? If so your windows isn't going to detect your phone but the ircomm thing makes a port.

Hi I have tried IR comm but it just changes colours once in a way. It still does not detect my phone in Easy Studio.

Remove the IR, Uninstall ircomm, Than put rhe IR in another hole.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I have tried that also. But it does not detect it. Infact when I tried with someones laptop it connected easily. So is there a differnece in IRDA standards which may cause this?

on the samsung website it only has easystudio and manuals for the e700. what do i do about upgrading phone software?
