Try JAZZ MIDI Sequencer by Jazzware. It's a free open source MIDI editor and works quite well for me. Version 4 has just been released. To find it, Search Google using the term Jazz Midi Sequencer or just Jazzware. The first search result is the website. (Sorry we're not allowed to post links).

U can try PSM Player which work similarly as the sound recorder in windows. This is a free software which enable u to cut and even adjust the volume of the poly tones. Also, u can convert any samsung polyphonic tones into nokia tones with this software. icon_alien.gif

I think that PSM did what I needed.
The interface could be a lot better, but I figured out my way around.

Edit: I just wanted to note that the search is really helpful. icon_rolleyes.gif
