I switched to a samsung SGH-E715

I've been a long time lover of all of SE with the t300 model and long time fan of the t610. I decided to go over to samsung after long debating the t610's memory size (paltry 2mb). But quite honestly, new SEs look great, but they aren't free with activation and they are just remakes of a base T610. (2mb)

I'm sorry to leave this forum and i wish the best of all of you.

Mettleh3d. t300 will always be in my heart.

the k700 is cheaper? Really? But how can it be cheaper than free? icon_razz.gif

I got my e715 free with activation. and the k700 looks like a t610 knockoff with a better camera.

I am not talking about phones available on a contract. Rather, about the phones available as SIM unlocked before hand. The K700 is certainly gonna be available at a cheaper price than the E715. Btw, the K700 is arriving in Dubai in 2 weeks time.

dont get me wrong. i dont hate SE. i just couldnt stand the t300 anymore and the t610 is too obsolete now.

Plus, i would never think of getting a fone w/o contract. thats just shoving money into a lit chimney.

U guys are a lucky bunch. In my country, the concept of contracts does not exist.

sorry to hear that. In the US, its the other way around. The concept of buying unlocked phones is nonexistant.

but on e-bay i see many US/Canada/Britain residents making unlocked phones a trend when purchasing..! so i think that the concept of buying unlocked phones are yet a trend in your country as ours..! (gforce & Me..!)

Since many of US/Canada/British individuals do like to wander around the world..! ( I ment tours..! and they use the alternative of using a carrier in foreign other than roaming..! since it is cheaper then the phone is forced to be unlocked..!)

Bye,

theyre probably getting phones like the k700, z600, p900, models which dont exist for carrier distribution. Otherwise, who now wud pay $150 for a t610 unlocked on ebay when its free by every provider?
