Hi I am a newbie and have read many of the posts on here, is there a definate code that works to unlock the above or a piece of software that I can download to use say with a data cable. Please can anybody direct me in the right direction. Many thanks

Turn the phone on with no sim car in it and try typing #*7337# Post here if that doesn't work.
bit of a pain u have to enter the code every time u turn the phone off then back on

hi the code works for e700, but does not work on the e710, can anybody help with a remote code. Also does anybody have a imei number changer for the above

Hi all these code seem to work to un bar a sim card on the phone but I am trying to unlock my phone from its current vodafone status so I can use it on any network! I have tried several codes none of which work and everytime it just re-sets the phone and doesn't take it off of vodafone. Any help would be much appreciated! cheers!

I have actually found a code that actually works, get the imei number, type *#06# to show this. Then put sim you want to use into phone, comes up "wrong sim" type *2767*688followed by your imei number end with #" screen goes blank or grey then it comes up and logs on. ok, I had the problem that if battery went or switched phone off, then I had to do it all again, but I found out this, after getting sim to work, THIS IS THE IMPORTANT BIT. Press *0141# then the GREEN Button. This locks the new sim card to the phone.
