Hi just got my Nokia 6230.
What software or connections do i need to download MP3 files to my phone?

The necessary s/w for communicating between phone and pc must be provided on the cd u got with the fone. I think it shd have Nokia PC Suite and Nokia Audio Manager.
For connectivity betn pc and fone, u will need either an InfraRed port, BT dongle or a nokia DKU-2 cable.

EDIT: I found a form in the box that I have to fill in and post in order to get the CD. Thanks anyway.

Didnt know u needed to fill in a form n all for the cd.
Did u buy it locked to a service provider??

No, i bought it outright.
Just might be the way it is provided in some countries.
You have to fill in the form then fax it to your specified country Fax number, and they will post it to you.
Anyway thanx for your help.
