Just....get the polyphonic tones dloaded from any site...or get them from a friends mobile.....But dont convert them uself....they dont come out very good.....
The song is hardly recognisable

You are ver right. I tried condingworshop, mobile music pro/polyphonic, nad intellesense but all are rubbish.
I guess the way around is to download ringtone from wap to cellphone then through some firwmare browsing utility transfer all the ringtones to the PC. And then reload them to another phone.
How is my plan? what do you say? I hope this will work!

Huh...why dont u dload the tone to the phone u want it in directly...
If u dont have wap on it...then cant u transfer thru BT or IR....y would u transfer them to PC and then back to another cell phone?

Actually,
I intend to transfer samsung mmf rintone to compatible SonyEricsson format.
I don't think Samsung ringtones (mmf) are supported by SonyEricsson.
Correct me if am wrong!
