need help pls... I can upload ponebook, sms, pictures, mms but I can't upload java games in my X100... I got the serial data cable (PCB133LBE) and the Samsung XXXX Java Uploader v1.1 by Jabberwock. i followed the instruction for uploading java games:
1. press #*536963# and then exit by pressing once the power ON/OFF or menu exit key
2. press #*5737425# and press once from the menu PPP UP and a short fast blick will happened
3. open the Samsung XXXX Java Uploader v1.1 by Jabberwock and add the desired java games to be uploaded. (.jad file)
4. press from the menu SERIAL DOWNLOAD
after it, it displayed the downloading but after 2 seconds it hung-up and restart it by itself.
what should I do?my OS is Win2000 pro.
Incomming Connection:
I did this:
1. I add a new connection
2. I selected from the network connection type: Connect directly to another computer (Connect using my serial, parallel, or infrared port.)
3. I selected Host
4. in Connection Device, I selected Device for this connection: Communications Port (COM1) and at the properties (General) the maximum Port speed I can select is JUST 9600 not 115200, Flow Control is Hardware while in (Advanced) Data Bits selected at 8, Parity is None, Stop Bits is 1.
5. Allowed Users, there is just two users, I select Dannny(administrator type) and the administrator.
6. I clicked Finished but my Incomming Connections icon I think is in deactive (has colorless) but when U click the status is deactive in selection (only Delete and Properties were active)
What will I do?do I need to WinXP OS?why is it my PORT SPEED is limited only at 9600?
I appreciated your Help. Tnx in advance.
I really appreciate it.. sorry for my english.
Could you help me, pls...pls...pls...

I may have possibly discovered why so many of you are having problems with this.
When you create the connection, you mobile is assigned an ip, now by default, dchp hands the ip out, but it hands an ip out that matches that of your pc, bit stupid really !!
To change it try the following.
Open the properties of your newly created serial connection.
Choose the Networking tab.
Choose the TCP/IP option from the list.
Change the ip settings so you specify the ip making sure you use the same subnet.
For example if you pc's address is 192.168.0.100 then for the range use 192.168.0.105 to 192.168.0.10.
Save the changes.
Now choose the PPP UP on your phone. You should see the connection appear.
Now finally try option 2 to download the games youve racked up in the uploader.
All should now work !!!

@ kevin_R
I've followed ur steps, but same prob occured. Is this will work on my win200 pro OS?
I got 192.168.57.202 ip add, so what should be my range ip? (ip add from? and ip add to?) i've tried from 192.168.57.112 to 192.168.57.207 it didn't work out.
so what do think the problem is? Hey where you from? can you give me some of ur files or ur link where I could download midlets, I do experience problem in uploading java games, and I think 1 cause of it maybe on my midlets.
I really appreciate it.. sorry for my english.
Could you help me, pls...pls...pls...

I've only tested this on Windows XP
Another thing you should try
Control Panel > System > Hardware.
Find the com ports and change the Rate and Flow control to match the values in the tutorial.
Also when you select the PPP UP option, do you see a new connection appear to the right of your incomming connection icon ?
If so, open it and check the ip making sure it doesnt conflict with any other devices on your network !
