i have a data cable with the model number as :
PCB093LBE
but it doesnt mention e700 just the smasung logo
and i right with this or should i take it back and bid for a infra red on ebay

The correct one is the PCB133LBE. Irda works fine to if you have windows xp pro. It also works on the other osses but not as easy as on xp

yes i do have it. i set up the phone online and everything done already. but when i click on the file manager, nothing happen.
and u know how i can tranfer mp3 to my phone.

So its enabled and you can click on it but if you do nothing pops up?
