I haven't come across any wav or mp3 to midi converter yet that actually gives a midi that sounds anywhere near to the source file.

How to make the mp3/loops into mmf
Ok this is how I make the mp3 loops into mmf singing tunes .
You will need
sound forge 7 , cooledit pro2 and yamaha wscma2
open an mp3 with sound forge and cut a little bit of it you like
then go to process , volume and set about 10 db and save it as a wave file
then open it with cool edit pro go to edit , convert sample type to
8000 mono 16 bit , then save it again as a wav
then open yamaha wscma2 and drag wav file into it to convert to mmf
thats how I make mine

one other thing that i want to ask is that is there any document that can explain the concepts like chords etc. infact i m a student so i want to go in deep.

i have made lots of tone like this like from soundforge and then Yamaha Convertor but they make lil big files like 100 kb or greater isnt there ny compressor which will compress MMF File ?

Ok, now i'll tell you how convert MP3 files to MMF/MIDi.
But for that u gotta pay me 500 BUCKS.
So say wat u want!!!!
