does anyone know how to make the caller ID show an actual picture for the person who is calling . Not just a ringtone????
And is it worth changing to V200 I was told not to. Anyone live in NY wants to do it for me

Thanks David

You can set it to show a picture by setting up groups. Go to Group Edit, set up your groups' ringtones, graphics, etc. After that, go to the phone book entry of the person and set up their caller group.

I'm in NY and want to flash my phone but do not have the cable. icon_confused.gif

I tried doing tthis and it did not work. I keep hearing the same rintone for all calls and I dont even see the name of the person valling. I only see the number scrolling across. Is there anything I can do? Help please. My infrared port is also not working.

I have a Samsung V205 that I bought off eBay. Problem is the phone password is on and I can't figure it out. I tried everything I can think of including 00000000. Is there a way to see what the password is through a code or something or to reset or delete it. I am able to get into the phone through a mod I've done, however if I turn it off it prompts for the password again. Any help would be great. =)

if it doesn't work like that..your only option is to enter these codes: *2767*media# *full# *cust# *wap# *stackreset# one after the other..in the same order.. note that "media"=63342 on your keys. this is the full phone reset and memory clear. good luck!

Everyone,
Here is the unlock code for the Samsung SGH-T519 otherwise known as the Trace. Follow instructions:

Power off T519
REMOVE SIM card and battery
Replace battery and power on phone
a screen will appear asking for a SIM card

At this point you will need to enter the following information. NOTE: This unlock code will unlock the phone and allow any compatible GSM SIM card to activate the phone T-Mobile, Cingular, AT&T, Asia, Europe, etc. You do not need the IMEI number, this is a GLOBAL code:

Enter the following
#0111*42998280#

NOTE: after you enter #0111* the digits will appear like this --------
This is because you are tying in the passcode to unlock the entire phone, not just the SIM lock.

NOTE VERY IMPORTANT: if the SIM card has a lock code on it, you will have to remove this first, before performing the above operation.

I hope this helps, I, probably like yourself was unable to get the lock code and it took days to get this information from Samsung and T-Mobile.

Help!

Does anyone here know how to reset the phone lock (not network lock) to a 920sc? My kid (though he doesn't want to admit it) "accidentally" typed in a new password and now I can't use the phone. I've tried everything, using the possible defaults, entering old codes, nothing worked.

Please, anyone. help.
