Hey guys, I found this board while looking for info on how to create animated screen savers for my A660. There is one that comes with the phone, an eagle, but I was wanting to customize it a little more. After some searching I believe that it is either one of two things, a converted animated gif, or a series of gif images that are stored in a specific location. Has anyone done this before? Can I simply convert an animated gif and upload via t1mmy.net? Or is it more complicated like the solution I found for another phone, where you have to replace the individual frames of the one that is there using a data cable? Any help would be much appriciated.

Yup its as easy as that upload a animated gif to a webspace and download it via wap. Image Ready from Photoshop is a great tool to modify or create animated gifs.

thanks for the help don, but is there anything i need to do besideds link it? When i uploaded the gif i had made, and typed the url into my phone, and at first it seemed to work. I got a message saying "launch this file now?" and said yes, then it gave me a message saying "Download handler for this content in the web?" Not sure what that ment, I pressed continue and it spit me back out to my browser and wouldn't download the file. I tried doing it through t1mmy.net, but it doesn't support gif files. Any suggestions?
