1. I bought a Prolific USB-to-Serial cable for my SE T230.
2.I installed the driver as specified to allow data trasnfer, through COM5.
3. I installed Mobile phone monitor and set it to enable COM5.
4. Installed SE Image editor. (& Rebooted)
5. Ran SE Image Ed., after few seconds it detected my T230
6. I selected an image from hd and clicked download button.
7. It gave me error "Failed to send file".

similar errors i get with sendfile, and fma doesnt allow obex.. it says "obex is busy" ..
my cable aint faulty. as i transfered some themes and melodies to my t230 yesterday.. but in the mornign .. i simply am unable to do anything.. XTND cannot synchronize my contacts.. or anything. Does SE provide any diagnostic software?

secondly what is SE PC Suite.. is it a complete mobile managment software.. does it work for t230? third.. does t230 support obex of fma?

Try using Floats mobile agent and see what happens.
The SE PC suite is basically used for synchronization and for creating a GPRS access account using the Dialup networking wizard so that u can access the net on ur PC using the GPRS connection.

well i sorted out the sendfile problem.. (i had preinstalled fma).. and if i disable obex in it.. sendfile works.. so now .. only problem left with outlook sync.
XTND fails to detect phone... while FMA says obex busy and i cannot upload anything thru it

Hi,

I just received a T230 today due a guarantee-thing with my earlier T65. However, I cannot get this to work with the fma at all. Would you karar be that kind to post your serial port settings (in fma), and perhaps also your mobile firmware version? I would be very very thankful!

Hi to all..

I have USB cable... 3 kindz of drivers, SE image editor, FMA, and more more more....
Allways the same problem, FMA see the phone, but cant see files folders cause it says "Obex browsing not implemented" or something like that..
SE image editor dont see my phone at all. No connection.

I tried with all drivers for my usb, allways the same problem. I change the ports, and its the same. FMA recognoize the phone, any other software DONT!!!!!!!!

I just want to transfer some files to my phone, so IS there any way i can do that, or i will brake this T230 cause its realy piss me off very very. If there is no way, i will buy NOKIA!!!!!

C ya!!
