I had returned the data cable for a replacement because it was very hard to disconnect, & I also thought it might be part of the problem connecting.
They sent me a new one, it's a different brand, & the disk that comes with this one doesn't have any software, just the usb driver. I had previously uninstalled the other version of the software. So, I installed the one that you pointed me to, tried it, & same problem. It's not even connecting now before it goes belly up. It's version 2.0, just like the other one was I think. Is this the same version you have? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello out there
I am trying to get my data cable and LG 4015 to work with my computer so I can upload ringtones. I have it where the computer shows the cable as a port, but other then that I cannot get anything to recognize the phone. Is bitpim the program to use with this phone? What can I do to get bitpim to recognize this model? What next? Any advice?

Once you go here you will see PC Sync Software in the upper right corner click on this and it will bring you to the download. If you have a popup blocker hold the control key as you hit accept
