Hi to all!
I have been trying for a long time to send pictures from my T300&MCA-25 to PC for free, and fortunately I found out!
I have installed to my PC a "USB to IrDA converter" cable and now I can send pictures made wiv my phone to my PC for free via infrared icon_smile.gif

you are the lucky one who got IrDA...

but i bought a standard serial cable... workin just fine.... lookin for some software for all the things a man can do with the phone....( plz post some info on good sotware locations, if it is allowed.. thx ) and the last what i found was this forum.. yeah just found it after i bought the cable 2 hours ago icon_sad.gif( damn.. yeah...somebody kill me plz..

i found the info on the problems with downloading the pictures from the phone to the PC.. but found some positive info too... i think it was positive icon_smile.gif

also, i really dont wanna ask the same questions again, lookin stupid... but im an absolutely newbie in this sector ..

also only thing i really wanna know if it is possible to download from the phone to the PC using standard serial cable.. found somewhere, that the floats mobile agent or what was the name can do this job... so im unsure about it.. so im askin again icon_smile.gif ...

**i found some sending programs.. workin perfect all the way (obexsend, sendfile)

**installed edesktop 1.0.0.42.. well.. its workin.. obex can connect... see some strange files.. no pictures no music.. seem like system files... but cant download anythin from the phone... program got an endless loop trying to download, but nothing recieved

** installed floats mobile agent.. nice software, but sometimes i get OBEX busy... i found a good solution to get it workin, also this is not a problem... the problem is, when OBEX trying to download some INFO file from the phone... TELECOM/PB/INFO.LOG .. end the same way as in edesktop... endless loop trying to download, but nothing happens in 15 minutes...

plz help me... i dont wanna spend money on IrDA.... thx for all help

Regarding ur query about the T230, u can email client to send the stuff to yourself. Another option is to use a data cable.

Hi,
I too came across this situation. I was quite successful when trying to download pictures from my phone to the pc. Try this on the option menu

1. Click Tools And then Options
2. Then Go to the Communication Tab
3. Search For The OBEX option menu
4. check whether it's not set to "Disable OBEX"
5. Once You've checked that, move onto the OBEX tab
6. Set the Maximum Packet Size to the Maximum which is around 32,767bytes.
7. Now your set click OK.

***You could only transfer a file which consists of a maximum size of 32,767bytes.

Best Of Luck..!

Hi,

If this didn't work on yours too..! then forget about using the t300 to be synchronized by FMA. I synchronized T610 it worked.

I'm so dissapointed....
icon_cry.gif

I already did everything as possible to transfer my photos from T230 or T300 and nothing works. I only just got the backup of my SimCard, but OBEX must be disabled. When I enable Obex and try, a dialog box appear saying that Obex is busy (maybe in background) and I must close that obex or disconnect en re-connect the cable.... but nothing .... Sometimes my Laptop restarts due the CPU's Hig processing.
I really don't know what to do or what happen...

Hi,

The Best Solution Is to Purchase An Infrared Adaptor..!

It wouldn't cost you much..!

I bought one for just $7.99 excluding shipping, thats much efficient for data Transfer.
